Yubico, the leading provider of hardware authentication security keys, today announced it has expanded its Asia Pacific (APAC) team by appointing Selina Goh as Regional Sales Director, ASEAN, and Derix Suartyo as Solutions Engineering Lead, ASEAN, to support the strategic growth across the APAC region.
Based in Singapore, Goh has over 15 years of experience in the region and is known for her sales capabilities, marketing and customer engagement skills. Prior to joining Yubico, she worked with several national and international corporations, including Singtel, NCS, Dell EMC and 3D Networks.
Goh graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a Bachelor of Science in Computing (2nd upper class Honors) and also actively volunteers as a subcommittee member in the International Information System Security Certification Consortium [(ISC)2)] where she supports the executive members, connecting shared knowledge through technology events.
“It’s an exciting time to be working in the technology sector, especially in cybersecurity,” said Goh. “I’m looking forward to working with current and new Yubico customers across the region to help them address the cybersecurity security authentication challenges that many organisations in the region face on a daily basis.”
Derix Suartyo is also based in Singapore and brings to Yubico around 20 years of Complex IT Infrastructure and Modern Cloud Experience. He has held a variety of roles in security data encryption, networking, data center and server related engineering, where he was involved in many complex IT infrastructure projects, covering areas such as data migration and cloud deployment.
He was previously a lead solutions architect with Lumen Singapore supporting clients from a range of industries, such as financial, consumer business as well as technology companies, where he helped customers with their digital transformation journey. Suartyo holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from Bina Nusantara University, Jakarta.
